don't forget mother's day!!!

Here's a simple idea that I'm doing with Gannon and Maddie for Mother's Day. We're doing this friday (I only work weekdays) because Gannon will spill the beans if we do it early! :) I bought some cheap but cute watering cans at walmart, they come in pastel colors and are a little bigger than a cereal bowl. I'm going to have the kids decorate the cans with foam stickers, probably to spell out "Happy Mother's Day" and decorate with flowers. There are seed packets at walmart that will sprout in about a week and flower in about a month (kids can be impatient!). This is a nice, inexpensive, and thoughtful way to help your kiddies celebrate their mom! Plus we get to make a mess : )

That 's a good idea. I am only temping, but you can get that molding stuff from Michaels or Wal-Mart, and Mold their hands or feet into the plaster. That can also be something they can cherrish. I was thinking about that, but mother's day is right around the corner, so not sure yet.
